Tom has over 30 years experience in operations management as both a practitioner and consultant. Since 1985, Tom has been devoted to providing education, training, consulting and implementation guidance and facilitation for operational excellence concepts and techniques.
Formerly with Kaval, Nortel, Mitel, GE Canada and General Electric, Tom has 14 years experience in manufacturing management, human resource development and training. From the shop floor to the corporate offices, he has held positions such as materials manager, stores and traffic manager, shop operations foreman, corporate engineering development program manager, facilities planning and design specialist, manufacturing engineer, business module leader and vice president of operations.
Tom's 16 years of training, improvement workshop facilitation and project management support have taken him across North America and across all types of work environments from industry to education to healthcare to utilities. As an expert in MRP/ ERP systems and Lean Enterprise Thinking, Tom has what it takes to make your value streams flow.
