Bruce Craig
Senior Advisor
Bruce is a Lean Management advisor for Value Stream Solutions Inc. Prior to this, Bruce was an Organizational Effectiveness Advisor for Shell Canada’s Sarnia refinery and chemical plant. He helped implement Quality Improvement processes in both plants and facilitated the implementation an organizational change process at the Sarnia site.
His involvement with Lean/CI began in the 80’s when he trained supervisors the leadership tools and skills to lead Quality Improvement Circles within their work units. The success of these efforts led him to develop a program to implement a team work culture using the principles of socio-technical systems and employee engagement. He has successfully helped department and operations managers to implement programs to involve people in making improvements to their work areas and processes.
Recently while working at Tremco Canada’s Toronto plant, he developed and helped implement a “Lean Management” program based on the work of David Mann, author of Creating a Lean Culture.
