Bill Bender is a senior operations executive with over 30 years of manufacturing management and consulting experience. He has provided Lean Manufacturing consulting services to a variety of companies and industries. Clients range from small to large, and include several Fortune 500 companies. He has developed and implemented improvement plans which have significantly reduced inventories and lead-times, while increasing quality and productivity.
Bill has also developed and delivered numerous lean manufacturing seminars for the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME), and for various government and consortium parties.
Previously, he has held senior management positions at Camco (GE Appliances) and Westinghouse, in program management, new product introduction, workforce re-organization, and lean manufacturing, and was President of an office equipment manufacturer. With his diverse background and experience, he can not only work with senior management to develop their improvement plans, he can also “roll up his sleeves” and get it done.
