Overview of Lean Principles
This Overview of Lean Principles is a 1-Day course that is a compulsory module within the Lean Certification Program designed to be the beginning of your journey towards world-class and to provide a roadmap on the journey.

This was caused by a paradigm shift in the global marketplace towards Lean methodology. Being the best you can be at cost, quality and delivery are mere survival necessities today. The differentiator now, between successful world-class organizations and all of the rest is how they integrate the best-practice lean-methodologies that create better value for customers and make them more competitive on the global stage.
This program covers the following subjects:
1. A detailed Introduction to Lean, with enhancements and hands-on exercises.
2. The Five Principles of Lean.
3. Mindset considerations, application tools and implementation steps for each of the Five Principles of Lean.
4. Participants will learn the role trust plays in lean thinking and implementation planning.
5. Participants will explore some of the more impactful paradigm shifts that have influenced the ways employees view their role in continuous improvement initiatives.
When considering the fact that in most instances the supplier needs the customer more than the customer needs that particular supplier, it is logical to think that the supplier should take the lead role in helping to determine what the “New Value” could be to the customer.
